Seahawks Finalize Preseason Schedule, Matchup vs. Cowboys Set

In this story:
The Seattle Seahawks officially revealed the times and dates for their three-game preseason slate on Tuesday, as fans now know when they can soak in all the exhibition action ahead of the 2023 season.
Per the announcement, all games can be heard on Seattle Sports 710 AM and KIRO Newsradio 97.3 FM, and will be televised on KING 5.
Here are the kickoff times and matchups:
Preseason Week 1: Seahawks vs. Minnesota Vikings - Thursday, Aug. 10 at 7 p.m. PT at Lumen Field
Preseason Week 2: Seahawks vs. Dallas Cowboys - Saturday, Aug. 19 at 7 p.m. PT at Lumen Field
Preseason Week 3: Seahawks at Green Bay Packers - Saturday, Aug. 26 at 10 a.m. PT at Lambeau Field
Seattle went 0-3 in preseason play last year, suffering losses to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Bears and Cowboys. But this hardly mattered for a Seahawks team that proved the doubters wrong in the months that followed those three exhibition games.
This marks the second consecutive year that the Seahawks will face the Cowboys in the preseason. Seattle fell 27-26 to Dallas at AT&T Stadium last season in a game that ended with quarterback Drew Lock tossing a wacky interception to the Cowboys to simultaneously end both the team's hopes of winning a preseason game and his chance at potentially being Seattle's regular-season starter. Geno Smith was named QB1 after the game, and Seahawks fans know the rest.
There won't be any starting quarterback debate this time around. Still, the preseason will present major excitement for fans and opportunities for Seattle's rookies and UDFAs to prove themselves on what might be the biggest stage up to this point in their careers.
