Lamar Jackson Gets Roasted After Jalen Hurts Latest Comments

Baltimore Ravens fans didn't hold back, with endless comments and tags toward Lamar Jackson.

PITTSBURGH -- Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens continue to try and work out a way to get the quarterback on the field for the 2023 season. Meanwhile, teams like the Philadelphia Eagles are inking quarterback Jalen Hurts to a deal similar to what Baltimore has offered to Jackson.

Hurts signed a five-year contract worth $255 million with $178.3 million guaranteed. Meanwhile, reports have said the Ravens offered Jackson a $250 million deal with $175 million guaranteed at first and another $25 million coming after year three. Jackson would make $50 million per season while Hurts is set to make $51 million.

Speaking at a press conference about his new deal, Hurts' words have Ravens fans voicing their distaste for Jackson in the contract scenario.

There are also fans in the comments discussing how Hurts has a receiving core around him while Jackson does not. That could change this season as the Ravens have already signed Odell Beckham Jr., and there have been reports claiming Jackson has told them to trade for DeAndre Hopkins as well - and when they do, he'll talk about playing this season.

This saga doesn't seem to have an ending coming anytime soon. Jackson hasn't signed his non-exclusive franchise tag and is believed to most likely sit out this season if he doesn't get a deal done. And when it comes to a trade, he's made it public that he's requested to be dealt out of Baltimore, but there doesn't appear to be a suitor willing to make the deal.
