Steelers Will Get Up Close Look at Marvin Harrison Jr.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will get an up close glimpse of the young Ohio State star.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers have staples to their scouting trail during the offseason. Typically, they start in Clemson, head to Georgia and then hit a few spots with prospects on their big board in between. From there, they head back towards home, stopping in Columbus, Ohio for Ohio State's Pro Day - and this year, they're getting a glimpse of next year's big prospect.

The Steelers will get an early Pro Day look at Marvin Harrison Jr., as he works with C.J. Stroud at the Buckeye's workout. It's expected that nearly every NFL team will be in attendance as Stroud, along with a number of offensive and defensive pieces, will showcase themselves on the field.

According to Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer, head coach Mike Tomlin and general manager Omar Khan will be in attendance, along with a long list of NFL personnel.

The Steelers likely have their eyes on a receiver in this year's draft, but doubling down next spring won't be out of the question. Pittsburgh never sees themselves being high enough on the draft board for a name like Harrison Jr., but it'll still be interesting to see their reactions to the young star.

And if they love what they see, you never know what's going to happen in the next year or where Harrison will land come the 2024 NFL Draft.

As for this year's draft class, look for the Steelers to be watching wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba and offensive tackles Paris Johnson Jr. and Dawand Jones. All of whom could be there at pick 17 for the Steelers.
