Broncos Host Former Steelers CB

In this story:
PITTSBURGH -- Levi Wallace is moving on and looking for opportunities with other NFL squads after the Pittsburgh Steelers declined to re-sign him when his contract expired at the end of the 2023-24 season.
Wallace, who spent two seasons as a part-time starter in the Steelers secondary, will visit the Denver Broncos this weekend, according to a report from Bleacher Report NFL Insider, Jordan Schultz.

Wallace appeared in 31 games over two years and started 18 of them. He totaled six interceptions, 24 passes defended and 86 tackles. Before signing a two-year, $8 million deal with the Steelers in 2022, Wallace started 52 games over four seasons for the Buffalo Bills.
The emergence of Joey Porter Jr. as a shutdown corner for the Steelers on the back half of the 2023 season pushed Wallace out of a starting job and limited what his role with the organization could have been moving forward.
The Steelers added Donte Jackson via a trade with the Carolina Panthers, shipping wide recevier Diontae Johnson out to get the speedy veteran in exchange. With cornerback figuring to be a major part of the Steelers' draft strategy this spring, the Steelers have found a plan for life without Wallace in the picture.
