NFL Power Rankings Based on Super Bowl Odds Ahead of Preseason Week 3 (NFC North, AFC West Could Be Special)
Two weeks of preseason football are in the books, and every team has just one more tune up before the regular season finally gets underway next month.
In last week's edition of my NFL Power Rankings here at SI Betting, I stayed pretty chalk atop this list with the Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens (the top four teams in the latest Super Bowl odds) taking up the top four spots.
However, it's become very clear that the Rams (+550) are the only team that oddsmakers really believe is a Super Bowl contender, as there are 13 teams that are priced between +1000 and +2000. Essentially, you could make a case for nearly half the league to win the Super Bowl, and you wouldn't be taking an extreme long shot in the odds.
So, where does every land after a few preseason showings?
Each week, I'll continue to rank all 32 teams in the NFL based on their odds to win the Super Bowl in the 2026 season, even though things haven't really changed (in the odds) since we don't have any regular season results to react to.
I won't match up with Vegas every week (so you can fade me if you'd like), but the Super Bowl odds are a great way to tell just how good the betting market thinks each team is this season.
Here's where it all stands ahead of preseason Week 3.
NFL Power Rankings Based on 2026 Super Bowl Odds

1. Los Angeles Rams (+550) Last Week: No. 1
The Rams are loaded with veteran talent and are the clear favorite to win the Super Bowl in the 2026 season -- if they stay healthy.
I'll likely keep them in the top spot in these rankings heading into their huge Week 1 matchup (which opens the NFL regular season) against San Francisco.
2. Seattle Seahawks (+1100) LW: No. 2
The defending Super Bowl champions are loaded with talent, and one could argue that they're undervalued at fourth in the odds (+1100) to win the Super Bowl this season.
If Sam Darnold continues his insane two-season run, Seattle has a real chance to repeat in 2026.
3. Baltimore Ravens (+1000) LW: No. 5
Baltimore is going to face a softer schedule after a down 2025 season, but the only way the Ravens are paying off this price is with a healthy Lamar Jackson.
Still, new head coach Jesse Minter should improve a defense that has been extremely hit or miss the last few seasons.
4. Buffalo Bills (+1000) LW: No. 4
A ton of pressure is on Josh Allen and the Bills to deliver in the 2026 season, and it'll be interesting to see if their defense can hold up to make that happen.
Last season, Buffalo was 31st in the NFL in EPA/Rush and it was unable to contain Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos in the playoffs.
5. Philadelphia Eagles (+1600) LW: No. 3
A.J. Brown is gone, and this could be a make-or-break season for Jalen Hurts and this aging Eagles core. However, Philly has a dominant offensive line and has drafted extremely well in recent seasons on defense.
The Eagles are favored to win the NFC East again in 2026.
6. Denver Broncos (+2000) LW: No. 6
The Broncos may not be the sixth-best team in the NFL, but these odds (13th in the NFL) are way too low for a team that made the AFC title game last season and returned a ton of the roster while also adding Jaylen Waddle.
Denver was a top-10 in the league in EPA/Play on both offense and defense in 2025, and it should be in the mix to win the AFC West again in 2026.
7. New England Patriots (+1600) LW: No. 8
The Patriots made the Super Bowl last season, and they upgraded their offense by trading for A.J. Brown.
The key? Proving that last year's easy schedule wasn't the main reason for all of the team's success in the regular season.
8. Kansas City Chiefs (+1600) LW: No. 7
I won't count out a Patrick Mahomes-led team, especially if the three-time champion shows that he's fully recovered from his torn ACL.
The Chiefs have a lot of questions, especially on defense, but Mahomes could be the great equalizer for this franchise.
9. Detroit Lions (+1900) LW: No. 9
The Lions have the benefit of playing a fourth-place schedule in the 2026 season even though they were over .500 in 2025.
Health has derailed back-to-back seasons for the Lions on defense, but they have one of the most dynamic offenses in the league with Jared Goff, Sam LaPorta, Jahmyr Gibbs and Amon-Ra St. Brown.
10. Green Bay Packers (+1800) LW: No. 10
The Packers have yet to win the NFC North in the Jordan Love era, and they are facing a tough road in arguably the best division in football.
Still, this team was an elite offense (fourth in EPA/Play) in the 2025 campaign.
11. San Francisco 49ers (+1900) LW: No. 11
San Francisco is in a tough division, but Kyle Shanahan and Co. showed that major injuries won't stop them from contending for a playoff spot in the 2025 season.
If Brock Purdy stays healthy, the 49ers should flirt with 10-plus wins once again this season.
12. Jacksonville Jaguars (+3000) LW: No. 12
Jacksonville is priced way too low after winning the division in 2025, especially since it has the best quarterback in the AFC South in Trevor Lawrence.
At +3000, the Jags are one of the few value bets on the board ahead of Week 1.
13. Houston Texans (+1800) LW: No. 14
DeMeco Ryans and the Texans have an elite defense, but C.J. Stroud's development is going to be the key to this team unlocking its ceiling.
Houston should be in the mix to win the AFC South, but Stroud's playoff showing last season is a small concern when considering the Texans as Super Bowl contenders.
14. Los Angeles Chargers (+1700) LW: No. 13
Justin Herbert has yet to win a playoff game, posting a a 54.7 percent completion percentage, four picks, and just two touchdowns in three appearances.
The Chargers have the second-best odds in the AFC West to win the Super Bowl, but bettors are putting a ton of faith in Herbert with L.A. priced at +1700.
15. Chicago Bears (+2400) LW: No. 16
I bumped Chicago up in these rankings, as Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson have one of the higher ceilings in the league. Chicago nearly made the NFC title game in 2025, but it will face a tougher path back to that spot in a loaded NFC North in 2026.
16. Cincinnati Bengals (+2000) LW: No. 15
Can Joe Burrow stay on the field?
If he does, the Bengals may have their most complete roster since they made the Super Bowl in the 2021 season after adding Dexter Lawrence and others to their defense.
17. Dallas Cowboys (+2500) LW: No. 17
Dak Prescott and the Cowboys are equipped to be an elite offensive team, but can their defense improve after rebuilding from the Micah Parsons trade?
If that happens, Dallas should be in the mix to make the playoffs in the NFC.
18. Minnesota Vikings (+5000) LW: No. 18
The Kyler Murray era is beginning in Minnesota, and the Vikings are looking to build on a strong finish to the 2025 season.
The Vikings have the fourth-best odds to win the NFC North, but Murray could raise their ceiling quite a bit after some awful QB play in 2025.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+5500) LW: No. 19
Baker Mayfield and th Bucs are priced as the best team in the NFC South, yet they're still 20th in the odds to win it all.
Tampa Bay finished last season in the bottom half of the league in EPA/Play on offense and defense, so there is a lot of room to improve in 2026.
20. Indianapolis Colts (+6000) LW: No. 20
The Colts got off to a great start in 2025, and they need Daniel Jones to find that magic again if they're going to reach the playoffs in a loaded AFC.
21. Pittsburgh Steelers (+5000) LW: No. 23
The Aaron Rodgers-Mike McCarthy reunion is an interesting subplot in the 2026 season, but will Rodgers be good enough for the Steelers to return to the playoffs?
The path will be tougher if Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson stay healthy.
22. Carolina Panthers (+9000) LW: No. 21
Bryce Young has a lot to prove in the 2026 season as he looks for a long-term deal and last season's playoff appearance was a step in the right direction. Still, Carolina is just +220 to get back to the playoffs this season.
23. New Orleans Saints (+9000) LW: No. 24
The Saints were over .500 when Tyler Shough started in the 2026 season, and they're an intriguing candidate to go from worst-to-first in the weak NFC South.
24. Washington Commanders (+6000) LW: No. 22
Can Jayden Daniels stay healthy enough for Washington to get back in the playoff conversation?
The Commanders are currently +230 to make the postseason, a sign that Vegas isn't sold on this roster after a rough 2025 campaign.
25. New York Giants (+7000) LW: No. 25
The Giants' Super Bowl odds are further up the board than you'd expect given Jaxson Dart's lack of experience, but the betting market is clearly buying the John Harbaugh bump.
I'm a little lower on New York in what could be a tough NFC East.
26. Atlanta Falcons (+13000) LW: No. 26
Michael Penix Jr. is returning to 11-on-11 action, and that may be an upgrade for a Falcons team that has a ton of weapons around either Penix or Tua Tagovailoa. Still, Atlanta has underachieved quite a bit with this core, putting Kevin Stefanski in a tough spot in his first season as the head coach.
27. Tennessee Titans (+13000) LW: No. 27
Tennessee is a long shot to make the playoffs in the AFC South, but Cam Ward's development will be one of the more intriguing storylines in the 2026 season.
28. New York Jets (+20000) LW: No. 30
The Jets are facing an uphill battle to make the playoffs, but they are incentivized to take a step forward in Aaron Glenn's second season. A bounce-back year from Geno Smith could push New York to six or seven wins, especially with two matchups against Miami on the schedule.
29. Las Vegas Raiders (+15000) LW: No. 28
Ashton Jeanty injured his knee in practice over the weekend, which could really alter the Raiders' offensive plans in the 2026 season. Regardless, Las Vegas is expected to finish in last in a loaded AFC West.
30. Cleveland Browns (+20000) LW: No. 29
It'll be interesting to see who wins the Cleveland quarterback job, but after trading away Myles Garrett, the Browns are not a team that should contend for a playoff spot in the 2026 season.
31. Miami Dolphins (+35000) LW: No. 31
De'Von Achane could have a huge workload for a rebuilding Dolphins team in the 2026 season, but there isn't much else to get excited about with this team next season.
The Dolphins moved on from a ton of veteran talent in the offseason as they look to reset their cap sheet.
32. Arizona Cardinals (+50000) LW: No. 32
Arizona is destined to finish in last in the NFC West, and it's possible third-round rookie Carson Beck will play significant snaps after some strong showings in the preseason.
Getting Beck to be a potential long-term option at quarterback would be a huge win for the Cardinals.
