PITTSBURGH -- Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields is a name associated with the Pittsburgh Steelers this offseason, and in an interview with the 33rd Team, he sparked some interest by discussing his favorite stadiums in the NFL.

On the St. Brown Brothers Podcast, Fields said his two favorite away stadiums are the Detroit Lions and Steelers, mentioning how electric the fans are at Acrisure Stadium with their Terrible Towels.

"Pittsburgh was lit, too," Fields said. "I remember going there my rookie year. We went over there, too."

Fields brought up his Monday Night Football matchup with the Steelers his rookie season, but said the Bears were cheated out of a win by the refs.

"I’m not gonna get fined, I shouldn’t get fined here, right? Alright, I gotta say it. The refs, they cheated. They cheated us outta that game. I’m not gonna lie," Fields said. "…There’s a flag where if you go back and look it up, bro, there’s a flag at the end of the game. We just get a big play. It’s fourth down, we got a linebacker run off the field. The ref looks back bumps into him. I seen that flag, bro. I’m like, come on. I was sick. But yeah, their stadium was lit. It was cool."

Pittsburgh went on to win 29-27 that game.

This probably doesn't mean anything when it comes to the future of Fields. If the Bears were to allow him to choose his trade-mate this offseason, Pittsburgh would probably be on his list either way, but knowing he enjoying playing there could help the cause.

All that said, it's still up in the air if he'll end up with the Steelers this season. But as of now, nothing would surprise the insiders covering the team.
