Trevor Lawrence Battered & Bruised In Buccaneers Loss; Texans Impact?

In this story:
The Houston Texans were blown out by the Cleveland Browns on Sunday afternoon, sending their playoff hopes into a tailspin - temporarily at least.
Over the next few hours, the Texans watched their main playoff competition - the Colts and Jaguars - fail miserably on their own, with each getting blown out as well, and leaving Houston in contention for the AFC South title.
The Jaguars, however, might have suffered an even bigger setback than in the loss column, with their star quarterback Trevor Lawerence coming up injured yet again for the third-straight week, this time with a shoulder injury.
“It’s bothering me,” Lawrence said after the loss. “Hopefully nothing major but, yeah, it’s bugging me right now.”
The injury, which occurred late in the third quarter with the game already out of reach for the Jaguars, knocked Lawrence out for the remainder of the game and sent his availability for Week 17 into question.
If Lawrence is unable to go in Week 17, and the Jaguars are forced to go with backup QB C.J. Beathard vs. the Panthers, the door could be open for the Texans to sneak into the lead of the AFC South.
And by the sound of it, Lawrence's prospects for Week 17, sound at the very least questionable.
Jaguars Reveal Major Trevor Lawrence News; Texans Impact?
“When I landed I knew something was off,” Lawrence said. “And the next play it kind of hurts to throw. I wanted to finish the drive out and we were able to get some points, and then on the two-point [conversion attempt I] could tell by the way I threw it I couldn’t really get my shoulder up good enough to really keep playing.
“I would’ve loved to have stayed in but just kind of hurting everybody at that point if I do, so they made the call to just take a seat the rest of the night.”
They would obviously need some help as well. After all, with the Panthers sitting at 2-13, it is entirely possible that the Jaguars could still pull out a win next week.
Not to mention they would still need the Colts, who are coming off a 29-10 blowout loss to the Falcons, to fall to the Raiders - which to be fair seems the more likely of the two scenarios.
