NASHVILLE- The Tennessee Titans had a large contingent of front-office staff, scouts, and coaches present in Columbus, Ohio, on Wednesday, attending the Ohio State Buckeyes Pro Day, where no less than three potential targets for the Titans were on display.

While CJ Stroud is likely out of the Titans range, barring a major trade, receiver Jaxon Smiht-Njigba, and left tackle Paris Johnson Jr., both of whom have been mocked to the Titans multiple times during this evaluation process, also participated in drills.

Following the workouts, Titans head coach Mike Vrabel stopped for an interview with a Cleveland television station, where he shared some thoughts on what he had witnessed and on Smith-Nijigba in particular.

Asked how he evaluates players and if he is looking for something specific, Vrabel shared this.

"I think it's just the total package," said Vrabel. "How they're able to perform, you know, there's a lot of pressure on them with a lot of people watching, cameras, their interactions with players, and ultimately the things they do in the workout."

Vrabel was asked if anyone, in particular, he was there to see, to which he quickly responded, "all of them, anybody that can help us."

When asked if Smith Njigba was a guy the Titans might be interested in to compliment Treylon Burks, the answer was expected.

"Of course, I mean I think we're looking for guys who can get open and catch the ball and that can do things after and create separation, absolutely," added Vrabel.

So what specifically impressed the Titans coach about the Buckeyes receiver?

"Well, I think the ability to work inside, and he's got some ability to work outside, so it's early on in the evaluation process," concluded Vrabel.

While nothing definitive can be taken from those comments, based on all reports, Smith-Njigba had a very impressive workout and likely did not hurt his stock in the eyes of Vrabel or the Titans.
