With Will Levis Now Starting, How Many More Games Will the Tennessee Titans Win in 2023?

In this story:
The Tennessee Titans sit at 3-5 essentially halfway through the season and while they have been competitive most weeks, they are not looking like a playoff team at this time. However, the injection of life Will Levis has brought as this team's starter could galvanize the team to more wins.
So, what will the Titans' record be at the end of the year? Let's take a look at the remaining schedule and take a guess at how they finish.
Week 10 - At Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Win
The Tennessee Titans have yet to win a road game, but against a Buccaneers team with a poor run game and porous secondary, the Titans should have a great chance to go in and get a victory.
Week 11 - At Jacksonville Jaguars - Loss
It is simple, the Jaguars are a better team with a better quarterback at this stage in the game. The Jaguars have been on a winning streak and while the Titans typically play them tough, the talent difference and the game being on the road, send this in Jacksonville's favor.
Week 12 - Vs. Carolina Panthers - Win
Out of all the games remaining on the schedule this is the only one that would feel like an outright disappointment if the Titans lost. The Titans have been good at home, have a better team than the Panthers and Mike Vrabel has owned Frank Reich, Carolina's head coach, for many years. Also, seeing Levis outperform the number one pick in Bryce Young would be nice.
Week 13 - Vs. Indianapolis Colts - Win
The Titans lost to the Colts in their road matchup in Week 5, but the Titans should play much better at home. Also, that was the first matchup between Vrabel and new Colts coach Shane Steichen. Vrabel should have a much better idea of what to expect in the second matchup between these teams.
Week 14 - At Miami Dolphins - Loss
There is just a snowball's chance in hell that the Titans can slow down the passing attack of the Dolphins. Miami may not be a juggernaut like they looked at the beginning of the season, but they are still a better football team than the Titans and with it being on the road, hard to predict anything other than a big loss.
Week 15 - Vs. Houston Texans - Win
This one will have intense stakes. The Titans will be wearing the Oilers throwbacks in this one, which obviously could sting for the Texans and their fans. Also, it was rumored the Titans were trying to get up and take Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud in this year's draft, so seeing Stroud and Levis battle will be fascinating.
Week 16 - Vs. Seattle Seahawks - Loss
The Seahawks have a better roster, more experienced quarterback and a better head coach. Although the Titans will be at home and should keep it close, the better team should win this one. This is one of those games though that if the Titans win, could put themselves squarely in the playoff hunt.
Week 17 - At Houston Texans - Loss
Houston gets revenge in Week 17 here. The Titans and Texans seem like relatively similar teams. Not the most talented rosters and young quarterbacks led by defensive head coaches. They are similar enough that I think they split their matchups this year.
Week 18 - Vs. Jacksonville Jaguars - Loss
This one is interesting because of the possible scenario. Titans fans were hoping this game might be for the division title, but that seems awfully far fetched considering the Titans are currently last in the AFC South. However, the Jaguars could have the division wrapped up by then and sit players in the final week of the year. Potentially handing the Titans a victory. I don't think that happens though and Jacksonville will go for the kill.
If this played out, which it certainly will, the Titans would finish 7-10 for a second season in a row. A tough spot to be in where you aren't a playoff team, but also likely won't get a top-ten draft pick. The good news is though, as long as Will Levis hits, the Titans will be just fine going forward.
