Sunday's game between the Cleveland Browns and the Washington Football Team marks the first time in NFL history where both teams have a woman on their coaching staff. Callie Brownson, who was the first woman hired to be hired as an NCAA Division I coach back in 2018, was hired by the Browns this season as their chief of staff. On the other side of the ball, Jennifer King was hired this year by the Washington Football Team as a full-time coaching intern. In addition to the two female coaches, the game will also be officiated by Sarah Thomas. Thomas was hired as the NFL's first female permanent official in 2015.
