Ryane Clowe trade near?

Ryane Clowe might want to head home after tonight's contest against the Coyotes and pack some warm clothes.
According to Kevin Kurz of csnbayarea.com, "the Sharks have approached Clowe’s agent about the possibility of waiving his no-trade clause, and a deal could happen as soon as Sunday."
With San Jose director of pro scouting John Ferguson Jr. spotted in both Boston and Montreal today, it seems those two Eastern Conference powers are the leading contenders to land the boisterous winger.
Both teams are looking to make a significant addition in the wake of Pittsburgh's shopping spree this week, but it remains to be seen whether Clowe actually qualifies. The 30-year-old winger is struggling through a disastrous final year of his current contract, with no goals on the season despite firing 62 shots, and suffered a shoulder injury that kept him out of several games recently.
Despite this, San Jose GM Doug Wilson is pursuing a premium price that's probably only gone up since the Pens acquired Jarome Iginla. Hey, nothing wrong with trying to squeeze a pair of motivated buyers for everything he can. Word is he is seeking a first round pick, an NHL-ready prospect and another asset. Hard to believe any team is desperate enough to pay that price, but the Bruins, in particular, are feeling the squeeze after being jilted by Iginla.
If Wilson is willing to add defenseman Dan Boyle to the deal, as has been speculated in some corners, the Bruins may be willing to build on a package similar to the one they offered for Iginla -- a first rounder and prospects Alexander Khokhlachev and Matt Bartkowski.
