Lundqvist dons Back to the Future mask co-designed by Michael J. Fox
Henrik Lundqvist went Back to the Future on Saturday night, showcasing a trilogy-themed mask he designed with actor Michael J. Fox to be auctioned off for charity.
The headgear, worn in the Rangers' win over the Devils, is one of six masks co-designed by different celebrities, that will be auctioned off to benefit the Henrik Lundqvist Foundation and its community partner, the Garden of Dreams Foundation.

The custom paint job has plenty of features plenty of nods to the Back to the Future series:
"In a comical nod to Fox’s last name and acting career, the mask has a cartoon fox coming out of the sunroof of the classic “Back To The Future” DeLorean. One of the best features on the mask is the other tribute to “Back To The Future;” a depiction of the classic movie poster depicting Fox stepping out of the DeLorean, and checking his watch. Even the dates of time travel that were featured in the movie made it on the mask!"
Fans can find out more about the masks thanks to MSG's series "The Mask with Henrik Lundqvist," featuring one-on-one interviews with Fox, Mario Batali, Tiesto, Jeff Gordon and John McEnroe as they each designed their one-of-a-kind goalie masks. In addition, a mask designed by the FDNY and a crystal mask created by Don Blanton are also up for auction.
