Daniel Sedin becomes Canucks’ all-time goals leader in win over Bruins
Daniel Sedin’s first goal on Thursday night didn’t just help the Canucks beat the Bruins. It also put him atop Vancouver’s all-time career goals list.
Sedin scored goal No. 347 in the teal-and-blue to break a 2–2 tie in the third period. That goal surpassed Markus Naslund’s 346 career goals with the Canucks.
Sedin then added another with an empty-netter to put the game on ice, giving the Canucks a 4–2 win in Boston.
Daniel and his brother, Henrik, are in their 15th season with the Canucks. They’ve combined for more than 500 goals.

However, Henrik still has the family bragging rights when it comes to scoring. Henrik, taken with the third pick in the 1999 draft, has tallied 952 points—732 of them assists. Daniel has 924 points.
