Joonas Donskoi’s goal with 7:42 remaining in overtime gave the San Jose Sharks a 3–2 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final, and cut their series deficit to 2–1.

Donskoi came around the back of the Penguins’ net and beat goalie Matt Murray up high for the score. It was his second point of the night; the winger also picked up an assist on Joel Ward’s game-tying goal in the third.

San Jose fell behind 1–0 in the first, and 2–1 in the second, but managed to come back from both deficits.

The series will remain in San Jose, with Game 4 starting at 8 p.m. ET on Monday at the SAP Center.
