SOCHI SCENE: Playing the hits

SOCHI, Russia (AP) The sound of music fills the air and arenas from the Caucasus Mountains to the coast of the Black Sea at the Olympics.

The tunes are often familiar ones. They just don't sound the same.

The opening ceremonies Friday night included the Red Army Choir MVD singing Daft Punk's ''Get Lucky.'' A couple days later, while the Norway men's hockey team was practicing, the same Grammy-winning song was blaring with an organ-music twist at the Bolshoy Ice Dome.

While fans packed the stands on the snowboarding slopestyle course Saturday, they were serenaded by an old-school hip hop song, an instrumental version of Ice T's ''New Jack Hustler.''

Can't wait to hear what's next.
