RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) The United States has qualified for two synchronized diving events at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

Amy Cozad and Jessica Parratto finished fourth in women's synchronized 10-meter, while Sam Dorman and Kristian Ipsen rallied to place sixth and take the final spot in men's synchronized 3-meter at the FINA Diving World Cup on Friday. The meet was held at the Maria Lenk Aquatic Center, which will be the diving venue for the Summer Games.

The top four countries not yet qualified in those events earned Olympic berths in the final qualifying meet for diving. The U.S. will select its synchro teams in June at the Olympic trials in Indianapolis.

The U.S. men took bronze in 3-meter synchro at the 2012 London Olympics, where Ipsen teamed with Troy Dumais.
