CHICAGO (AP) Forward Jordan Morris was picked for the U.S. under-23 roster for an Olympic qualifying playoff at Colombia on March 25 and will miss the Americans' World Cup qualifier at Guatemala that night.

The roster announced Saturday didn't include defenders John Brooks and DeAndre Yedlin, who presumably will be included in the World Cup qualifying roster announced Sunday.

Under-23 coach Andi Herzog's 23-man roster for the game in Barranquilla also included midfielder Julian Green and defender Matt Miazga.

Cameron Carter-Vickers, a defender for Tottenham's under-21 team, wasn't included in the roster because of an unspecified injury. The roster has six players who were on last year's U.S. team at the Under-20 World Cup.

Forward Rubio Rubin and midfielders Christian Pulisic and Gedion Zelalem were bypassed.

Just 11 of the players were on the roster for the qualifying tournament last fall.
