Arkansas's Jarrion Lawson matches Jesse Owens's NCAA title triple

Jarrion Lawson of Arkansas became the first NCAA athlete to win the men's 100 meters, 200 meters and long jump at the NCAA outdoor track and field championships.
Owens won the three titles in 1936 before competing at the Olympics.
Lawson won the long jump with a leap of 26 feet, 9 inches. He won the 100 and 200 in 10.22 and 20.19 respectively.
Arkansas finished second to Florida in the team scoring with a final score of 62–56.

Lawson may compete at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials next month, where he can try to earn a spot on the Olympic team that will head to Rio de Janeiro in August. The top three finishers in each respective event will head to the Summer Games.
