LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) The IOC has reached a new long-term cooperation agreement with organizers of the Paralympics through 2032.

The deal was signed Tuesday by the International Olympic Committee and the International Paralympic Committee.

The IOC says the accord is aimed at ''increasing the visibility of the Paralympic Games and enhance the Paralympic brand.''

It is also designed to ensure ''the financial stability and long-term viability'' of the IPC and Paralympics.

No figures were given. The IOC provides some funding to the IPC.

IPC President Philip Craven says the deal ''will take our partnership into a fourth decade and make the Paralympic Movement more self-sustainable.''
