A small blast that could be heard and felt near the finish line of the men’s cycling road race on Saturday was a controlled explosion of an unattended bag, according to the Associated Press.

No one was injured in the explosion, which was conducted by military police, and the race continued as scheduled. No one was evacuated from the area were the bag was found.

The controlled explosion was conducted with about 70 kilometers left in the race.

There have been a number of bomb scars in Rio in the weeks leading up to the Olympics. There is also a heavy security presence throughout the city.
