Aly Raisman looks to add to her collection of six Olympic medals by competing at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, she told the Ellen Show on Wednesday.

“That’s the goal,” Raisman said. “I’m going to take off a little bit of time, just because I think I need a little bit of a break. I took a full year off in 2012. I’m going to do the same thing, take a year off, and then I’ll begin training again.”

Raisman was a member of the Fierce Five in 2012 that won the team all-around gold medal. She also won gold in the floor exercise and a bronze in the balance beam in London. She is coming off another successful Olympics in Rio de Janeiro where she won a team all-around gold, an individual all-around silver medal and a floor exercise silver medal.

Olympics were not perfect, but Rio tried its best

Dominique Dawes is the most recent American gymnast to compete in three Olympics with her appearances at the 1992, 1996 and 2000 Summer Games.

Raisman will be 26 years old at the start of the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
