Real Salt Lake's Rio Tinto Stadium will host the all-important semifinals, third-place game and final of the CONCACAF men's Olympic qualifying tournament in October, the confederation announced on Thursday.
StubHub Center in Carson, California; Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado; and Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kansas, will be the other sites for the eight-team tournament, with the USA Under-23 national team playing its group games at the latter two sites and Mexico playing at the former two.
The two powers will each head the separate four-team groups, with the top two in each moving on to the October 10 semifinals.
The semifinal winners will each qualify for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and play for the regional title on October 13. The winner of the third-place match, which will be held the same day as the final, will play Colombia in a playoff for one more berth in the Olympics.
