Watch: Megan Rapinoe throws out first pitch at Mariners game

U.S. women's national team midfielder Megan Rapinoe continued her World Cup victory tour on Sunday, throwing out the first pitch at the Seattle Mariners game.
Rapinoe has had quite an incredible ride since July 5, the day the U.S. beat Japan in the World Cup final (a day that also happened to be her 30th birthday). Since the win, she has attended a victory rally with her teammates in Los Angeles, gone on SportsCenter, tried on the WWE World Heavyweight Title belt and, of course, been honored at New York City's ticker-tape parade.
On Sunday, Rapinoe was back in Seattle, where she plays for Seattle Reign FC in the National Women's Soccer League. She threw the first pitch from the top of the mound, and the high arc on the ball was reminiscent of the crosses she routinely serves into the box on the soccer field.

Rapinoe also took the time to check out the sights and sounds at Safeco Field as she enjoyed a day at the ball park.

"It was good... I think. Catcher set me up pretty nicely. I was just glad I didn't throw it into the dirt." - @mPinoe on her pitch
