With a spectacular volley, Lionel Messi broke a 1–1 tie for Barcelona in the second half of Saturday’s match against Malaga.

In the 50th minute, Andres Iniesta played it to an open Adriano on the left flank, who bent in a curling, one-touch ball into the box.

There, it found Messi, who snuck into a pocket between two defenders, left his feet and calmly volleyed it past an outstretched Carlos Kameni for the 2–1 lead.

The goal was Messi’s 11th in La Liga this season.
