Barcelona star Lionel Messi got the scoring started in his team’s league match against Celta Vigo on Sunday, drilling a free kick from distance in the 28th minute.

Messi took the kick from well outside the box, placing the ball in the top corner on the right side of the net. He struck the ball with enough pace that goalkeeper Sergio Alvarez had no chance to get a hand on it.

The goal is the 13th for Messi in La Liga this season.

Celta Vigo came back to even up the score at 1–1 on a John Guidetti goal in the 39th minute, before Luis Suarez put Barcelona back on top with a goal in the 59th.
