Report: Neymar’s Barcelona contract worth more than $28 million

Neymar makes about $5.7 million per year with much more earned in bonuses.

Neymar’s salary and other contract details for the Barcelona forward have been leaked to the public by Soccer Leaks. 

His current five-year deal, which pays Neymar about €5 million ($5.7 million) per year with a €8.5 million ($9.72 million) signing bonus, was signed in early June 2013. The 24-year-old star’s contract includes a €190 million ($219.6 million) buy-out clause. 

The contract also includes a bonus structure in which Neymar can earn €637,500 ($729,172) if Barcelona wins La Liga, €850,000 ($972,230) for the Champions League title and €850,000 ($972,230) for the Copa del Rey.

Neymar finished third behind Messi and Ronaldo for the Ballon d'Or but if he wins the award during his career in a Barcelona uniform, he can earn €425,000 ($486,115).
