Los Angeles Galaxy forward Giovani Dos Santos scored one of the goals of the year during his team’s game against the New England Revolution on Sunday.

With the Galaxy already leading 1–0 in the first half, Emmanuel Boetang sent a cross into the box that deflected and landed at the feet of Dos Santos. Just as the ball was about to hit the ground, Dos Santos unleashed a screamer that found its way into the right side of the net, just beyond the reach of the arms of goalkeeper Bobby Shuttleworth.

Robbie Keane would add a goal in first half stoppage time—his second of the game—to give the Galaxy a 3–0 lead.

Dos Santos now has four goals in five games this season.
