Clint Dempsey scores hat trick with two assists from Jordan Morris

Clint Dempsey and Jordan Morris helped lead the Seattle Sounders over Orlando City on Sunday.
Dempsey scored a hat trick in the 3–1 victory, with Morris assisting on two of the three goals.
Dempsey’s first goal came shortly after Orlando took an early 1–0 lead. He converted a one-touch finish from just in front of goal to tie the match.

The second goal was assisted by Morris after he and Dempsey got behind the Orlando defense on a 2-on-0 advantage.

In the early moments of the second half, Morris found Dempsey again to stretch Seattle’s lead to 3–1.

Dempsey had a hat trick for the national team last July in a Gold Cup win over Cuba. His last MLS hat trick was in April 2014.
