The world's tributes to Chapecoense

Chapecoense, a small Brazilian club in the south of the country, was decimated by a tragic plane crash on November 28, 2016. With the club on its way to the first leg of the Copa Sudamericana final in Colombia, unprecedented heights for the team on the rise, its plane crashed into the Andes mountains, killing 71 of 77 passengers, including 19 players from the club. The soccer world unified immediately, with clubs and players paying tribute around the globe to honor the victims and support the club and all affected by the crash.
