2008 Team Scouting Reports

It was a little late, but by the end of last season this team was running wheel-to-wheel with the boys at Hendrick in the CoT. Owner Jack Roush acknowledges that he didn't devote enough resources to his CoT program at the start of 2007. After Roush drivers won three of the last seven CoT races, Carl Edwards topped the speed chart in a January test session at Las Vegas. The big question is, How will lead driver Matt Kenseth perform without longtime crew chief Robbie Reiser? Taking over is Chip Bolin, engineer under Reiser (now in a Roush management job), and his familiarity with Kenseth should make the transition a smooth one.
