KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (AP) Kurt Busch has signed a multi-year contract extension with Stewart-Haas Racing and landed a new co-primary sponsor in Monster Energy.

Monster Energy will debut on Busch's No. 41 Chevrolet next weekend at Martinsville Speedway.

Starting next season, Monster will be featured on the hood in 17 races, on the quarter panel for 18 races and be the primary sponsor for one race. Haas Automation, the company owned by team co-owner Gene Haas, will also be co-primary sponsor.

Busch has represented the Monster brand for three years, and won an Xfinity Series race for the company in 2012. Monster has backed Joe Gibbs Racing's No. 54 car driven primarily by Busch's younger brother, Kyle.
