AUSTIN, Texas (AP) Brothers Ricky and Jordan Taylor raced to their third victory of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season Saturday at the Circuit of The Americas.

In hot conditions in the 2-hour, 40-minute race, Ricky Taylor started the No. 10 Corvette Daytona Prototype from the pole and led throughout his 40-minute opening stint before pitting under a full-course caution. Jordan Taylor assumed the class lead following the pit stop and pulled out a healthy lead until he spun in Turn 20 with 37 minutes remaining.

Jordan Taylor managed to retain the lead over Dane Cameron in the No. 31 Action Express Racing Corvette DP. Cameron closed the gap over the next several minutes and challenged Jordan Taylor for the lead with less than 15 minutes remaining before fading at the finish. The No. 10 car owned by Jordan and Ricky's father, Wayne Taylor, won by 1.421 seconds over Curran's No. 31 machine.

''I think we had a 15-second gap at the pit stop and it was the same for the next few laps,'' Jordan Taylor said. ''I had an issue where the car went off the track a bit, and when I hit the accelerator, the traction control didn't catch it. I instantly turned off traction control to try and whip the car around and eventually put myself in a really bad spot. Thankfully, the guys were able to walk me through what was wrong and I was able to fix it.''

The runner-up finish for Cameron and co-driver Eric Curran was the seventh top-three result for the No. 31 teammates in nine races this season and moved them into the Prototype points lead heading into the 10-hour Petit Le Mans season finale at Road Atlanta in two weeks. They are one point ahead of Action Express Racing teammates, Christian Fittipaldi and Joao Barbosa, who finished third at COTA.

Porsche North America drivers Frederic Makowiecki and Earl Bamber took their first IMSA GT Le Mans class victory in the No. 912 Porsche 911 RSR. Bret Curtis and Jens Klingmann earned their second GT Daytona class victory of the season in the No. 96 Turner Motorsport BMW M6 GT3. Renger van der Zande and Alex Popow won the Prototype Challenge class for their fourth victory of the season in the No. 8 Starworks Motorsport ORECA-Chevrolet.
