INDIANAPOLIS (AP) Sebastien Bourdais will return to Dale Coyne Racing next year along with two new engineers - one of whom guided the Frenchman to four consecutive championships in Champ Car.

Bourdais will be joined at Coyne by engineer Craig Hampson, who most recently worked for Andretti Autosport. Bourdais and Hampson teamed for 31 victories, 31 poles and four consecutive titles from 2004 to 2007.

Also moving to Coyne is Olivier Boisson, who was Bourdais' engineer at KVSH Racing the last several seasons. Bourdais and Boisson teamed to win four races for KVSH.

Bourdais made nine starts for Coyne in 2011 when he made his return to American open wheel racing after three years competing in Europe. Two of those seasons away were spent in Formula One.
