Not much went the Boston Celtics' way in their 118–94 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers at TD Garden on Thursday night.

Boston fans didn't have much to cheer about after halftime, as the Celtics were outscored by 24 points after the break. They shot just 22.9% from three-point range and were out-rebounded 44–31.

One Celtics fan in particular perhaps represented the team's lackluster performance better than any stat.

As time ticked down in the fourth quarter, ESPN cameras panned to a Celtics fan who sported a tattoo that read "doubt" looking rather gloomy. Instant meme material.

The Game 2 performance was not what Celtics fans were accustomed to throughout the 2023-24 NBA season at TD Garden. Boston broke the franchise record for most wins at home to start a season (20) in January and only lost four games at TD Garden all year.

NBA fans had a bit of fun at the Celtics fan's expense:

The Celtics and Cavaliers will meet again Saturday for Game 3 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland.
