The NFL has announced that Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore have been named the Air and Ground NFL Players of the Week.

Rodgers helped his team improve to 6-0 after leading the Packers to a 24-3 victory over the St. Louis Rams last weekend. The 27-year-old threw for 310 yards and three touchdowns in the victory. He has now thrown for 2037 yards and a league leading 17 passing touchdowns this season and has posted a 122.4 overall quarterback rating through six games this year.
