Report: Marcus Lattimore will declare for NFL draft

Injured South Carolina Gamecocks running back Marcus Lattimore wil declare for the 2013 NFL Draft, according to a report from Joe Schad of ESPN.com.

Currently a junior, Lattimore is recovering from his second major knee injury in as many seasons. The running back enjoyed a stellar freshman season for the Gamecocks in 2010, but his 2011 season was cut short after tearing a knee ligament at the beginning of October. Lattimore made a full recovery and proceeded to have a solid 2012 until dislocating his knee against Tennessee on October 27.

Lattimore will likely have to miss a full season of NFL play if he is drafted this season.
