The Detroit Tigers have placed outfielder Austin Jackson on the 15-day disabled list with a pulled right hamstring, the team said on Monday.

The Tigers will recall outfielder Avisail Garcia from the Tigers minor-league affiliate Toledo to take Jackson's place on the roster. Jackson sat out of Sunday's loss to the Cleveland Indians and his stint on the disabled list will be retroactive to May 12th.
