Atlanta Falcons running back Steven Jackson will likely miss two to three weeks with a thigh injury, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's D. Orlando Ledbetter on Twitter.
Jackson left with the injury in the first quarter of Sunday's game with the Rams, shortly after scoring a touchdown against his former team. Jackson, who signed with the Falcons this offseason, ran 11 times for 77 yards in the season opener against New Orleans.

Jacquizz Rodgers and Jason Snelling are expected to fill Jackson's role temporarily.
#Falcons coach Mike Smith ruled out Steven Jackson this week. He said, "It's short term. Don't know if that's two or three weeks."
