Jimmer Fredette plans to sign with the Chicago Bulls if he clears waivers, reports USA Today's Sam Amick.

Fredette was bought out by the Sacramento Kings earlier this week and drew interest from multiple teams, but the Bulls became the front runners early Friday.

The former BYU standout saw his playing time shrink in each of his three years with the Kings, averaging just 11 minutes-per-game in 41 appearances this season.
