J.J. Redick will miss 6-8 week with an injury to his shooting hand.

J.J. Redick will return to the Los Angeles Clippers starting lineup for the first time since injuring his back in February when the team takes on the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday, according to Dave McMenamin of ESPNLosAngeles.com.

Redick came off the bench for the team's 113-107 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday, contributing 12 points and two rebounds in 23 minutes of floor time.

The 7-year veteran has been plagued by injuries throughout his first season with the Clippers, missing over a month with a fractured wrist, as well as several games due to a hip injury.
