Report: Tigers' Evan Reed faces sexual assault complaint

Tigers relief pitcher Evan Reed is facing a sexual assault complaint, reports the Associated Press.
The alleged victim is being interviewed by the Detroit Police Department. Detroit police Sgt. Michael Woody told the AP that he did not know when the alleged assault took place.
Reed's attorney, David Gorcyca, said Reed will cooperate with the investigation once he is contacted.
"During the infancy of this investigation, no one should formulate any conclusions that a crime has been committed," Gorcyca said in a statement. "Mr. Reed is currently on a seven-day West Coast road trip and has not been contacted by the Detroit Police Department. We plan on cooperating with the investigation when the time is appropriate. Until then, no further comment will be made by me or Mr. Reed."
The Tigers released a statement Monday night saying the organization is aware of the "very serious allegation," made against Reed, adding the allegation is "concerning," and that it would be inappropriate to comment further at this time.
