Former UCLA Bruins coach Ben Howland has withdrawn his name from consideration for the vacant Oregon State Beavers job, reports ESPN's Andy Katz.

According to a source, Howland talked to Oregon State about the vacancy and spoke with AD Bob De Carolis Monday and said he was no longer interested in the position.

Katz:

"Oregon State is also interested in Arizona assistant and Oregon native Damon Stoudamire.

De Carolis reached out to Arizona athletic director Greg Byrne and Stoudamire over the weekend and into Monday, according to a source."

Former coach Craig Robinson was fired a week ago by De Carolis.  The university will still pay him a remaining $4 million buyout for the remaining three years of his contract.
