Minnesota Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway helped rescue a couple from an uncontrollable boat on Lake Minnetonka Monday afternoon, reports KARE 11-TV in Minnesota. Crystal and Edward Alexis were out boating on the lake when the steering of the boat became inoperable. The boat was spinning in circles and drifting toward the rocks lining the banks. The Alexis's were trying to keep the boat from hitting the rocks that lined the shore when Greenway stepped up and hopped in the lake to help out.

Greenway weighed in:

"So, I just ran down, of course with my two little girls following behind me, trying to stay out of the way, and I figured I'd help them out. It looked like it was dangerous. The waves are so big and the wind is so strong today that it pushed him right into the rocks, so we had to get him off the rocks, his prop cleared out of the rope, and get him turned in the right direction."
