Heat's LeBron James was 'angry' cramps forced him to sit late in Game 1

Miami Heat star LeBron James says he was upset that his body let him down in the final minutes of Miami's Game 1 loss to the San Antonio Spurs.

James left the game with cramps with 3:59 remaining and Miami trailing the Spurs by two points, but the game quickly swung San Antonio's way without the four-time MVP on the floor, and the Heat lost 110-95. He told reporters he wishes he could have been on the court helping the team.

"I did everything that I needed to do to prepare for this game, prepare for this moment and to feel like my body failed me ... I was angry in the fact that I couldn't help my team get over the hump. In a huge Game 1, I wanted to make a statement."

When asked how he felt about the backlash about his injury on Twitter, and specifically from NBA sponsor Gatorade, James reiterated that he was not concerned with outside chatter.

"I really don't care what people say about me, I don't care about that drink group ... I'm not even going to say their name," James said. "This is about the Spurs and the Heat, and it's not about everybody else. I don't care."
