Former U.S. national-team star Eric Wynalda, replaced by former teammate John Harkes as the lead color person on ESPN2's MLS coverage, will be returning to the air as Nick Webster's co-host of
The live call-in show's sixth season will begin on Aug. 10, moving to its new time of 7-9 p.m. ET weekly.
"Fox Football Fone-in has been an entertaining forum for true soccer enthusiasts for the last five years," said Dermot McQuarrie, Fox Soccer Channel's senior vice president of programming and production. "Eric's experiences will bring a fresh outlook to the show, invigorating the dialogue with our most passionate viewers."
Wynalda, a Hall of Famer, also worked as a commentator for ESPN on World Cup, Major League Soccer and NCAA telecasts.
Cohen started online radio show
The 46-year-old Cohen's is best known for anti-Liverpool remarks, including comments about Liverpool fans and their role in the 1989 Hillsborough stadium disaster earlier this year, that led to passionate response from Liverpool fans.
