Fabian Johnson suffered more than a heavy loss in Hoffenheim's 4-0 demolishing at the hands of fellow American Timmy Chandler and Nürnberg on Saturday. He also suffered a broken hand.

According to a report from the Bundesliga's official web site, Johnson broke bones in his right hand in the first half of the contest. The sometimes left back, sometimes left winger was substituted at half time.

Though it's likely Johnson will miss time, it is not known as of now how long Johnson will be out for. If the injury turns out to be especially severe, it could affect his availability for the United States' next scheduled friendly in which he would be involved, on March 5th at Ukraine in Kharkiv.
