New York City FC leaves final team crest choice up to fan vote

New York City FC is down to two options for its team crest, and it's up to the fans to decide how the club will be branded entering its inaugural MLS season.

NYCFC, on the heels of its My NYCFC campaign that allowed fans, businesses and everyone in between to design badges for fun, has narrowed down its options for two designed by Rafael Esquer, and it's up to the club's fans to determine which one of the above will emerge.

“Our supporters will always have a voice in our Club at New York City FC,” club chief business officer Tim Pernetti said. “We are truly excited about this opportunity to partner with them on this decision and we are counting on all New Yorkers and fans beyond the city to get involved, cast a vote and make New York City FC history.”
