Premier League shirt sponsorships worth record $325 million

The combined shirt sponsorship deals for all 20 Premier League clubs in the 2014-15 season total a record $325 million, reports

The record total is bolstered by Manchester United's new sponsorship deal with Chevrolet, which amounts annually to £47 million, or about $80 million. That's up from the £20 million per year paid by previous United sponsor Aon.

United's new deal is the most expensive in the Premiership, followed by Arsenal/Fly Emirates (£30 million), Liverpool/Standard Chartered (£20 million) and Manchester City/Etihad (£20 million).

According to the report, three clubs other than Manchester United saw the value of their sponsorship deals go up from last season: Swansea City, Everton and Hull City. Two clubs, Tottenham and West Brom, saw the value of their deals decrease.
