The Portland Timbers ended the first half of the MLS season at 6-7-9, and have 27 points. The team is currently ranked 7th in the West; the top five clubs in each conference make the playoffs.

Maximiliano Urruti leads the team with eight goals. Diego Valeri, Will Johnson, and Gaston Fernandez have six goals each. Valeri leads the team in assists, with eight. Johnson and Valeri made the 2014 MLS All-Star team.
