Togo has requested its September match against Guinea be moved out of the country due to fears over the Ebola outbreak. The Togo Football Federation cited the uncertainty of the country's safety after more than 300 people have died due to the Ebola virus in Guinea.

"We are scared by the situation," the Togo Football Federation (TFF) said.

Last week, Sierra Leone announced it had canceled all soccer matches because of the Ebola outbreak. The Sierra Leone team was denied entrance to Seychelles amid fears of the virus last month.

Nearly 1,000 people have died as a result of the Ebola outbreak in western Africa.
